Letterly’s Faux Calligraphy workshop teaches you the first steps of modern hand lettering, and together we'll apply that knowledge to a special seasonal project: a canvas trick-or-treat tote bag. $60 Basic ticket price includes: 1.5-hour workshop after-hours at one of Wilton’s best kept secrets: The Copper Kettle!Practical instruction in basic typography and modern calligraphyA professional grade felt tip pen for lettering practice, which you will keepPrinted practice pages for use during the workshop and unlimited access to print-at-home downloads to continue practicing afterwardA blank canvas tote bag and black fabric paint marker to take home for future projects, plus in-event access to the tools needed to plan and execute your custom design in class with LetterlyA special snack menu from The Copper Kettle with a full bar to keep those creative juices flowing!*Due to time constraints Letterly cannot help every individual student design and plan their project during the workshop. If designing your own artwork, sketching it and inking it on your bag sounds intimidating, please request to upgrade your ticket for $20 to have Letterly pre-sketch one of the designs shown below on a bag for you, so that you only have to trace the artwork in class. There will be a limited number of additional pre-sketched bags available for those who wish to try some lettering practice before deciding how to proceed with their bag project. *Food and beverages are not included in your ticket price and may be purchased separately; no outside food or drinks other than a water bottle are allowed at this event.
