Please join us for an evening of film and interdisciplinary conversation facilitated by SMU Anthropology and UTSW Psychiatry to deepen our understanding of culture, mind, and brain. The evening will include a light dinner and introductions, a film screening (30-minute cultural case study of mental distress from the Andes), and a discussion of the film from multidisciplinary perspectives. Implications for our own teaching and research will be explored. The event location is Dallas Hall Room 116.
