What could make for a better Saturday morning than a ride with new friends? Ending the ride at Oktoberfest!Join us at Sports Basement - Redwood City on Saturday, September 24th to meet some new folks and get a bike's eye view of Redwood City. Then converse with us at Oktoberfest! Oktoberfest requires a separate ticket purchase. Tickets are $25 if you plan to drink beer; $15 if you don't. Purchase Oktoberfest tickets here (Get a ticket for the 9/24, 12pm-4pm timeslot.)For the ride: Here is the ride route. We'll be pedaling roughly 8 miles at an average of 10-11 mph, largely on city streets and bike lanes. This ride is appropriate for e-bikes, bikes, tandems, recumbents, trikes, and bikes with trailers. Youth are welcome to join this ride as long as they can ride confidently and safely without training wheels. The ride leaves at 10AM after checking in and doing introductions. We'll regroup regularly, with no one left behind. After the ride, we'll arrive in downtown Redwood City and enjoy Oktoberfest! Don't forget to get your tickets separately for Oktoberfest. We recommend that all participants bring water, a snack, layers, sunblock, and a spare tube or a flat kit. We'd like to thank Sports Basement for providing a safe and welcoming gathering spot!
