North Houston Trucking is looking for HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC(s) for our Company based out of Pinehurst, TX. Work consists of troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing mechanical & equipment failures on NHT Equipment. Pay $25 to $35 hourly (depending on experience & tools). REQUIREMENTS: Mechanical knowledge – 2 Years (Preferred) Caterpillar ET Program & SIS – 2 Years (Preferred) Electrical Wiring – 2 Years (Preferred) Welding (Preferred but not Required) Must pass Background Check & Drug Screening Must be able to lift 100lbs in performance of duties Mobility to participate in frequent “Local” travel & be “On-Call” for Emergencies Tools Required (Specialty tools supplied) Valid Driver’s License (Required) Work Authorization (Required) JOB DUTIES: 1. Maintain, disassemble, and assemble heavy equipment machinery. 2. Diagnose and resolve difficult mechanical failures on small & large equipment 3. Utilize developed knowledge & skills of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs & preventive maintenance to a variety of heavy equipment. 4. Read & interpret equipment manuals, wiring schematics, and work orders to perform required maintenance & service. 5. Work with Caterpillar ET Program & SIS. 6. Research repair needs and work with Office Parts Coordinator to order parts as required. 7. Practice safe working habits and ensure proper PPE is being used. 8.
