Voices: “Hope In The Midst Of Peril” Mark your Calendars Voices: “Hope In The Midst Of Peril” Mark your Calendars 📆 1 for the return of “Voices”! “Voices” is a celebration of the African American Voice in Arts, that is hosted by Program Filling The Lane, Theatre of Winter Haven, Brothers United, and The Winter Haven High School’s Culture Connection Club. This year’s featured artists include: Yetta Mae Hansell, Shenita Berrian, Brothers United, Eddie Crockett, Timothy J. McCormick, Vincent Miller, Renard Hayes, Deric Feacher, Maxi Wood, Kay Maxwell, Syreeda Battle,S hena Livingston, and Aikel Coffie . On the 20th of February, the doors will open at 5:30 pm for VIP ticket holders with a 6:30 start show time. Guests will enjoy a musical review of Soul Music and “Good News” music. Come join Voices and the Voice, Deric Feacher, under the stars as they spread some “GOOD NEWS” for 2021 at the Chain O’ Lake Baseball Field. This event supports program Filling The Lane. The Mission of Filling The Lane is to bridge a gap between education, sports, culture, and community. Our ultimate goal is to enrich youths’ holistic educational experience by creating a structured and nurturing support system that fosters personal and academic development, community involvement, leadership, and appropriate decision making. This Year we will honor those have battled COVID-19 and observe a moment of silence for those who have passed on and left unfillable holes in our community due to COVID-19
