Back in 1988, Joe Biden ran for president. Joe Biden was completely HUMILIATED by the MAINSTREAM NEWS, as they exposed him as a LIAR and a PLAGIARIST. Biden stole speeches from other people. A LOT of speeches. He also LIED about his intelligence and his educational achievements, among other things. All the major news organizations, what we now call "Fake News", totally SLAPPED Biden back to the stone age for his lies in 1988. Obviously, in 1988, Biden was NOT the favorite candidate for the Democratic nomination and the mainstream news agencies made it very clear. Fortunately for Biden, three things occurred since 1988. 1) The mainstream news is a lot less honest than they used to be. 2) The field of Democratic candidates is a lot less competitive now. 3) Most of the people who voted for Biden were not even born in 1988. Some of the things that took Biden out of the 1988 race: 1) “The basic rap against Biden,” explained Democratic Pollster Geoff Garin, “is that he’s a candidate of style, not substance.” 2) Plagiarizing other people's speeches was particularly damaging to Biden, since it underscored the prior concerns that he was a shallow vessel for other people’s ideas. 3) Top Aide Tom Donilon said Biden failed to credit Kinnock's speech, because “he didn’t know what he was saying. He was on autopilot.” 4) Once plagiarism became an issue, reporters found other cases where Biden had failed to give proper citation to Humphrey and Kennedy. 5) During his first months at Syracuse University Law School, in 1965, Biden failed a course because he wrote a paper that plagiarized five pages from a published law-review article. 6) An Overwrought Press Conference: With a rambling and disjointed opening statement, Biden failed to reap the benefits of public confession, even though he called himself “stupid” and his actions “a mistake.” Part of the problem is that he contradicted himself by also insisting that it was “ludicrous” to attribute every political idea. The “final blow” for the campaign came when Newsweek unearthed C-SPAN footage of Biden rattling off his academic accomplishments, including saying that he graduated in the top half of his law school, when in fact, he ranked 76th out of 85. Joe Biden is an idiot and a liar. But he's managed to get people to vote for him, for almost 50 years. What does that say about his voters?
