We are thrilled to bring back our Irish language classes this fall, and to welcome back instructor Renata Rua! Two classes will be offered for this first five-week session. Introduction to Irish is a course meant for an absolute beginner in the Irish language. Topics covered will include the history and development of the language in Ireland, common phrases, beginning grammar, and conversation basics. This class will meet from 12 - 1:30pm on Saturdays. Revive Your Irish is a course meant for students who have had prior experience with the Irish language The course will include more robust activities to rebuild conversation skills, sentence construction, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. This class will meet from 2 - 3:30pm on Saturdays. Classes will be held on October 8, 15, 22, 29, and November 5 at the Kansas City Irish Center.
