PITTSBURGH, PA — Area movie theater chains forced to close last month under the state's latest coronavirus mitigation orders have begun to reopen and most will be back in business Friday - albeit with limited seating capacities and strict safety protocols. AMC's multiplex in The Waterfront already has reopened. The following AMC locations will do so on Jan. 8: Pittsburgh AMC Classic Clarion 7AMC Classic Mount Lebanon 6AMC Classic South Hills Village 10AMC Classic South Pike 10AMC Classic Uniontown 6AMC Classic Westmoreland 15 The following Cinemark locations also will reopen on Friday: Cinemark North Hills, McCandlessCinemark Monroeville MallCinemark Robinson TownshipCinemark Center Township Marketplace, Monaca
