Have you ever tasted a pawpaw? Do you know what a pawpaw is? Come to Garden Dreams Tuesdays 4:30-6:30pm starting September 13th to sample local pawpaws as they ripen. Gabrielle Marsden will explain their anachronistic ways and discuss the beautiful zebra swallowtail butterfly that will soon return to Pittsburgh after an absence of a hundred years! Maybe you can help bring the zebra swallowtail back too! This is FREE because everyone should have a chance to taste the largest native fruit in North America. Donations towards restoring the zebra swallowtail butterfly are welcome.
