Description
Family of 4 guinea pigs looking for a new home! Two slightly older guinea pigs were adopted from separate rescues in July of 2019. They were both around 3-4 months old. One of the guinea pigs was mis-sexed and we ended up with a male and female instead of 2 males. A few months later we ended up with 2 babies born September 13th 2019. It is fun to see how they interact with each other, they all have their unique personalities. They all love fresh veggies! Lettuce, fennel, bell peppers, carrots, squash. They are good eaters. Life has gotten really busy and I am unable to give them the attention and care they need. Chester is a neutered male. He is a little over 3 years old. He is very sweet and is the most social of the group. He likes pets in between the ears and will sit with you. His favorite snack is fennel. Sammy is the older female. She is a little over 3 years old. She is a bit timid. She will come for treats, but takes time to relax with humans. She loves lettuce! Luck is one of the younger females. She looks very similar to her dad. She will be 3 in September. She has a feisty personality. She will snatch snacks from your hands and steals snacks from the other piggies. She will accept pets while you hold her. Salem is the other young female. She will be 3 in September. She is the look out for the group. She lets them know if anyone comes in the room or if she hears anything resembling snack preparation. She will let you hold her and accept pets. They can be adopted as a group or in pairs. Chester and Salem as one pair. Sammy and Luck as the other. This is based on their personalities and who I think will get along best together. Rehoming fee is $75 for all 4 or $45 for a pair. I will provide bendy bridges, timothy hay, oxbow pellets (as well as a bottle brush and hay rack if all 4 are adopted to same home). I will require that the adopter has an enclosure that meets the Humane Society recommendations: https://www.humanesociety.org/resources/guinea-pig-housing.
