6-Car Crash, Fuel Spill Closes I-94 At 12 Mile Road In Roseville: MSP

ROSEVILLE, MI — A Tuesday morning multi-car crash has closed westbound Interstate 94 at 12 Mile Road in Roseville, Michigan State Police said. State troopers said a semi truck pulling diesel fuel began to loose control and ultimately jackknifed on the freeway, causing a six-car crash. Pictures posted to social media showed a Fedex truck under the semi truck. Officials said there were no injuries in the crash. During the crash, the semi truck spilled over 150 gallons of diesel fuel, prompting a hazmat situation, officials said. The westbound lanes on the freeway near 12 Mile Road is closed as officials cleanup the spill. The freeway was expected to open back up sometime Tuesday afternoon. The freeway closure means vehicles can re-enter the highway at the 12 Mile Entrance Ramp. The Little Mack Entrance ramp is closed.
