Schnauzer/terrier mix needs home - great companion for older/retired

We are looking to rehome an approximately 4-year-old schnauzer/terrier mix. He is a super sweet dog but unfortunately over the past 6-9 months he has developed separation anxiety issues that we no longer feel equipped to deal with as two working adults. He would be a fantastic companion for someone who is retired or who works from home full-time. Does great with dogs that are on the mellow/chill side, not sure about cats.
