General Laborer or Apprentice

Searching for a reliable general laborer or apprentice to add to the crew. We are a small, local general contractor that specializes in residential and light commercial remodels and renovations and we need to add to the crew to keep up with demand. What we are looking for in a candidate: 1. MUST HAVE reliable transportation of your OWN in order to get to job sites 2. Can take direction and be willing to learn 3. A work ethic. If you want the job... show up for the job... and do the job 4. Have some basic tools of your own to start. 5. Keeping job sites, tools, and equipment organized and orderly to stay productive and safe. We invest time into each of our crewmen, so we need candidates that are looking to make this line of work a career, not just be a stop over to the next opportunity. Things you may want to know: 1. Pay to start at $18-$20/hr. 2. To start this will be a 1099 position, after the 90 day probationary period has ended and it has been decided you will stay on, you will be switched to payroll. This gives us a chance to work with you and for you to work with us. 2. Proof of eligibility to work in the US and two (2) forms of ID required. 3. The areas we service regularly are Vista, Oceanside, Carlsbad, San Marcos, and Escondido. But occasionally we do handle other areas of San Diego County and Lower Orange County regions. 4. Hours are 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday; depending on the job. RARELY will weekends or evenings be necessary.
