Mid-Fifties fella, decent straightforward Sax, little bit of mandolin, Seeking fellow humans with eclectic tastes. Looking to cobble together a band, or, various players, in my area to simply Play for our own enjoyment first, love Open Mics, or if there's enough sound there, Clubs and Parties. I can read but not sight read. I've been in the Covid box for two years and planning a Jailbreak (all in the name of Liberty ;) Favorite styles : Trad-jazz Standards ( where are you people ?!? ), Acoustic (or electric ) old Rock, Soul, some Folky, some Bluesy, love Classical too. Not specifically in any order, or limited to : Lake St. Dive, Etta & Ella and Louie, Peter Wolf, Rufus, Al Green, John Prine restinpeace, Beatles (and after ),Van the man, Seger, Crooked Still, Willie, Little River Band, Rod Stewart, Springsteen, Prince. Love turning songs around into different versions of themselves, or band members switching roles on instruments occasionally - You know, FUN. If you play two of any of those mentioned, then, Yeah ! I have wireless sax mic & in-ear monitor, wired Mandolin through audio interface, tiny P.A., decent small mixing board, other mics and stands, cords, small rehearsal space here. Life is short lets make music.
