Forklift Driver/ Equipment Maintenance Coordinator compensation: compensation: $20-$23.00 per hour, depending on experience, and benefits offered employment type: full-time Job title: Forklift Driver/ Equipment Maintenance Coordinator Hardwood Flooring Company- looking to hire an Experienced Forklift Driver / Equipment Maintenance Coordinator. Join our team and learn a trade with growth opportunities available. POSITION OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE: Daily and weekly equipment maintenance. The ability to load, unload hard wood flooring products from trucks, and operate a forklift and pallet jack efficiently. REPORTING TO POSITION: Warehouse Supervisor ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Equipment Maintenance: • Wire brush sanding machine, Industrial sander, pre-finishing line equipment and compressor. • Ability to read maintenance manuals and follow directions. • Maintain all finishing equipment in a warehouse. • Simple equipment repair, clean and lubricate machines as needed. WAREHOUSE MAINTENANCE: • Maintain neat and clean warehouse premises. • Assist warehouse supervisor with safety issues. RECEIVING DELIVERIES: • Assist Warehouse Supervisor with receiving & tallying deliveries of supplies & wood material and managing inventory. All other tasks are required as assigned. SKILLS REQUIRED: • 3 years experience with forklift • 1 to 2 years experience maintaining warehouse area • Strong initiative and self-motivational skills • You must be at least 18 years old EDUCATION: • Minimum High School diploma or GED. • Requires a minimum of three years of experience in warehouse maintenance and simple equipment repair.
