If so, read below... Compensation: This is a non-exempt, hourly role. Hourly rates start at $18.00 +/hr, plus Over Time (paid at 1.5x). Benefits: (Probationary period may apply) • Performance based pay increases • Paid Time Off • Medical Insurance Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for pulling slab orders accurately and safely. This task will be performed using forklifts and an overhead crane. Responsibilities: • Pull material from the slab & remnant yard per the schedule provided • Move slabs to staging areas and take pictures using Slabsmith software • Unload slabs from the vendor’s vehicle/truck using forklifts • Ensure that product is undamaged and correct per the purchase order and packing list • Arrange slabs properly by forklift/crane in stone yard and staging areas • Document the location of stone in the yard as well as the various staging areas • Responsible for maintaining the stone yard to be safe for staff and customers • Picking up and dropping off material at vendor’s locations • Performs additional duties as required and or requested. Requirements: • High School Education is required. • Valid driver’s license in good standing • 2+ years experience in a warehouse environment. • 1+ years of experience with Forklift, crane, and warehouse experience preferred • Ability to use Smart Phones/Tablets • Good communication skills • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
