Warehouse/Yard Manager Job Description and responsibilities: • Coordination of project materials in the yard and warehouse o Coordination with Vendors and delivery drivers. o Inventory control including weekly minimum inventory reports. o Organization and staging of project specific along with inventory materials o Verification of Purchase orders with deliveries. o Requires occasional transportation of materials and equipment to the jobsite (Primarily in the Denver Metro area). o Daily entry of material counts into accounting software (Timberline) • Coordination of Utility locates for all projects through UNCC (811) • Assisting the PM and Superintendent with material orders on an as needed basis • Supervision of Crews at the shop and ensuring they are able to load materials and leave the yard in a timely manner each day. Position Requirements: • Must be Organized and self-motivated • Current Driver’s License preferred but not required. • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings • Strong communication skills both written and verbal. • Ability to balance work load and prioritize multiple tasks at any given time • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn Microsoft office (Xcel and Word) and Timberline • Fencing experience preferred but not required.
