Job description We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for a role at InterCoastal Property Services' managed hotel, Hampton Inn & Suites Fresno, located in Fresno, CA. InterCoastal Property Services manages limited service hotels throughout the United States. This position is responsible to respond to guest requests, perform general maintenance tasks, complete assigned work orders and help in the maintenance and repairs of all the areas of the property including but not limited to; guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, laundry, HVAC/CP equipment, electrical systems, plumbing systems, must be CPO (certified pool operator), spas, refrigeration equipment, painting, drywall, wallpaper, carpentry, furniture and all other related or unrelated equipment or facilities maintenance requirements and preventive maintenance programs. Duties/Responsibilities: Perform general maintenance to guestrooms and public areas Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas Receive daily work assignments and review priorities and special projects Maintain timelines and work schedule in accordance with the preventive maintenance program Perform electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and carpentry work orders as needed Assist other engineering personnel as instructed by Manager in regards to routine and preventive maintenance Maintain the proper use, cleaning, maintenance and storage of all tools Handle chemicals for designated uses/surfaces Ensure security of any assigned keys Additional duties as assigned Qualifications: 4 of years of building maintenance experience required Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and Company-required auto insurance. English/Spanish bilingual preferred Computer/technical skills (i.e., Basic knowledge of computer programs, Proficient with Microsoft Office, Tech-savvy, etc.) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Some general-overall mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, carpentry and facilities maintenance knowledge Must know how to use or have the ability to learn and understand basic diagnostic devices to trouble shoot and maintain equipment (meters, detectors, measuring tools, test kits, etc.) Must be able to walk the hotel daily and may include some lifting up to 50 lbs Full Time Benefits: Health Insurance 100% employer sponsored Health Insurance coverage with options to buy up or add dependent's at your sole cost 100% Dental and Vision coverage for yourself and your dependents 100% employer sponsored Life and AD&D insurance with options to buy up 401K plan with a 4% matching contribution Time off Benefits: Paid Flex Time and Floating Holidays Discounts / team member rates (depending on hotel)
