Press release from the Village of Grayslake: Registration is now open for the 2021 garbage and recycle can exchange programs. If your existing can is damaged please click here to submit a repair request. Residents may choose a FREE UPGRADE for their recycle can size from a 65-gallon to a 96-gallon. Please click here to enroll in the FREE recycle can exchange. Please click here to enroll in the garbage can exchange program. Residents opting to exchange their garbage can may choose one of three sizes: 90-gallon ($24.22 per month) 65-gallon ($21.60 per month) 35-gallon ($18.01 per month) Registration for the program is between January 1 and February 15, 2021. The exchange of the can(s) takes place in March and the garbage can rate change will take effect on April 1. The exchange is for residents who would like to have either a smaller or larger can size.
