Indoor Dining In Newtown: Which Bars, Restaurants Are Open

NEWTOWN, PA — A local craft brewery that was forced to shutter its taproom in December following strict COVID-19 mitigation measures is once again offering indoor drinking to the public. The Newtown Brewing Company, located at 103 Penns Trail, joins other local businesses in the Newtown area that are allowed to offer indoor dining after those measures expired on Jan. 4. As was the case before the December shutdown order, masks are required for employees and for customers when they are not at their tables. Restaurants that have certified they're following other COVID guidelines may operate their dining rooms at 50 percent capacity.
