We are looking for someone who would like the opportunity to learn and grow with our company. While this is an entry level position, the right person could work into a higher position. Applicants would ideally like woodworking and have some basic carpentry experience. We build Beautiful, Super-Insulated home kits, that are the simplest to fabricate, package, ship and assemble. Duties: Every day we're doing something different. We handle everything from drafting 3D plans to snow removal. As well as packaging and shipping another product of ours. Our culture is everyone knowing what's going on, all moving in the same direction. Doing what you can to help move the company, a process or a new idea forward. To start you'll be using a skill saw, router, bandsaw etc. As you learn the system, we'll be determining what you are capable of and what you like doing. We have machinery and roller systems to handle timbers, but you need to be able to move timbers by hand from time to time. Qualifications: Some carpentry experience. You're not intimidated using a windows computer. You learn fast and will ask questions if you're not clear. You are open minded and can handle constructive criticism. All work is at our shop on Concord / Canterbury line. We offer a pleasant and supportive work environment. Organized shop that's warm in winter, cool in summer. People like it here.
