On Wednesday I was walking home from picking up cat food and came across the most perfect little nightstand about 8 blocks from my house. Seriously I was so in love with it and just couldn't pass it up. It was real wood and so heavy and the cat food was heavy and it was 80 degrees and I was having a horrible day already. To the two strangers on scooters who saw me sitting on the curb and stopped to help me carry it the remaining two blocks, thank you. You don't know how much that cheered me up during a really hard time, I was really close to calling into work in favor of curling up in a ball in my bed for the rest of the day, but your kindness really meant a lot and I didn't end up staying a little blob. I hope good things happen to you <3
