Optometric Technician/Medical Assistant Yardley Vision Care is a busy optometric office looking for another great addition to our team. YVC is a growing practice with state-of the-art technology, full-scope vision care services, and an on-site optical laboratory. We are looking for someone that is excited to make a long-term commitment to help us to continue to grow. Requirements - Optometric technician needed for private, family eye-care practice. We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and dependable person who can interact with our patients and doctors in a professional way. The right candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented, outgoing, customer-oriented, multi-tasker who is willing to learn and stay with us long term. Vision/Medical office experience/knowledge desired with some basic optical background preferred, but we are willing to fully train the right candidate. Job Description – Responsibilities will include direct patient care including initial patient intake testing, helping with dispensing eyewear, optical repair & adjustments, optical and accessory sales, as well as front desk administrative duties and general patient/customer care. Job Type: Part-time - Hours may include Saturdays 9am -1pm and some evenings until 8pm.
