Description
These scammers are bold and sometimes either rude or manipulative, and they're targeting the elderly and those they perceive (sometimes wrongly) as vulnerable and naive. A friend of mine just had one seriously badger her and then try to manipulate her by saying "You need to learn to trust people." Yes, you DO need to trust people...to a certain extent. But if a deal is "too good to be true" or if you have to mess with codes, weird forms of payment, meet somewhere shady, or other nonsense, that's a red flag. Don't let someone manipulate you out of your hard-earned money, or even your life.
