Each year in October, UP Health System – Portage increases awareness of Breast Cancer and the importance of annual screenings. However, it is more than just a month – it is all year round. Did you know one hour, once a year, an annual mammogram could save a life? Join us and listen to Dr. Goodwin, Oncologist and Hematologist as he talks about the basic biology of breast cancer and treatment options, along with the importance of annual mammogram screenings, diagnosis, and nutrition.
