Each year during Mental Illness Awareness Week, NAMI Northern Illinois alongside many local individuals and organizations, come together to share the past year's accomplishments, new ideas, and a call to action around the topics of mental illness and mental health.
Why do we rally?
To enhance public awareness, because everyone must understand that mental health care is essentialTo create community
To promote mental health and wellness, because we can make a difference!
This event is free of charge and open to the public.
We will also be distributing awards to individuals who have been nominated as people who are Making a Difference in our community in regards to mental health.
