Actors needed for Original Play about Kauai, Climate Change, and the Virus. Performance in January. CHARACTERS DANNY: 40-50 yrs. old Local kine guy. Lifelong surfer. Danny grew up in Kauai. Intelligent. Artistic. Friendly. Confident. Charismatic. Is a celebrated Surf World Photo-journalist, author, historian. Well traveled with many long time friends world wide. Has visited over 50 surf spots in his career, mostly in the Pacific and South America. BURNZIE: 40-50 yrs. old. East coast style. Grew up in New Jersey. Upper middle class. Befriended Danny at journalism school. Spent all summer vacations and winter breaks at Danny’s home in Kauai. Loved the Hawaiian and surf lifestyle. Upon graduating went on a world surf adventure with Danny. After an unsettling occurrence in Ecuador, Burnzie went back to the NY -DC area. Hadn’t communicated with his once best friend in 20 years. Has been a professional investigative reporter. FRANKIE: 40 years old. Very attractive. Grew up in South Africa. Surfed at Jeffrey’ Bay, where she met Danny and Burnzie on their Surf adventure. Joined their world tour. Frankie was 17 years old at the time and fell in love with Danny. Six months later, after that night in Ecuador, she flew out and hadn’t seen nor talked to Danny since. LUANA FLORES: 30 years old. Athletic. Fit. Attractive. Grew up in Oahu. Surf family. Has surfed her whole life. Surfed Pipeline as a young teen. Was a professional surfer.
