Local firewood company looking to hire delivery driver. Tasks include operating large delivery truck (non CDL), unloading and moving firewood at clients’ properties, and stacking the firewood neatly. Requirements include: Valid driver’s license Experience driving large delivery vehicles Good communication & people skills Knowledge of Westchester County Strong work ethic Ability to follow directions, problem solve, and complete daily paper work To start, this will be an hourly position and you will be trained on daily duties. There is opportunity for compensation to turn into volume of work performed. We find that this encourages employees to properly manage their time and increase their weekly wages in return. Employees keep all tips from clients. Although tips are not guaranteed, they’re given quite often as we have higher-end clientele and repeat customers for years.
