We need someone who is willing to help us on occasion to manage our small collection of mobile homes (less than 20), most of which are in Madison Heights, VA inside the Tanglewood MHC. There is one in Altavista and two in Danville and those are not currently rented yet, still waiting for new tenants or undergoing renovations. We may need you to travel there occasionally at some point in the future, probably less than once every few months. We would hire you to: print and post 5-Day Pay or Quit notices on tenant's doors that aren't paying, (we would send you the paperwork to print out), go to the Amherst courthouse and fill out eviction filing paperwork after the 14 days are up, and show up at the courthouse to represent us in court if the tenant doesn't pay or get out in time. We would also like you to have a lawn mower and be able to mow yards for our tenants that aren't doing it themselves or for our vacant homes. If you can't transport or don't own a lawn mower and are willing to help us with evictions, please still contact us, that wouldn't be a deal breaker. This is less than part-time job, mostly just need you to be able to help us out a couple times a month if that, so keep your day job. We can reimburse you for gas to the park and courthouse from your house, and pay you $25 to print and tape on the doors of our tenants the 5-day pay or quit notice papers, and $30 to file the paperwork at the courthouse (usually takes 20-30 minutes) and $50 for showing up at the courthouse the scheduled court date. If you can occasionally mow and possibly weed-eat the occasional yard we can pay $25 for weed eating and mowing or just $15 for a lawn mow without weed eating.
