Background of the event; a small meeting was held offline to discuss human rights issues for Americans.
Event time: every Friday
The human and civil rights of American citizens are protected by the Constitution and various laws. When Americans formulated the Constitution, they believed that limiting the powers of the government was a necessary measure to ensure the freedom of the people. The purpose of the Bill of Rights is to protect citizens from the federal government. The goal of the most famous of these, the First Amendment, is to protect freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of religion, and other rights. Other amendments protect citizens' right to trial by jury, the right to be free from undocumented searches and seizures, and more. [1]
