Material Handling Systems is looking for an Industrial Painter. This position is for an Industrial Painter who will be painting steel beams in our warehouse. It can be physically demanding and candidates must be able to work in manufacturing facility. If you're a hard worker and enjoy a team atmosphere, there are opportunities for you to grow here. There will be occasional weekend work.  JOB DESCRIPTION Organize, cleaning, and painting. Prepare steel surfaces for painting according to specifications Ability to read, interpret, and follow paint manufacturer’s specifications Properly clean and maintain painting equipment Application & Spraying techniques knowledge of various types of Industrial Paint’s and Primers Knowledge of paint pump & gun settings and measuring equipment Ability to lift 50 pounds Following instructions from supervisors and implementing plans Perform daily project assignments along with daily cleaning and maintenance of equipment Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Apply technical expertise in determining work methods and procedures Install various items for the purpose of completing projects safely and within established time frames Maintaining shop, tools, vehicle and machinery in good working order Control downtime by performing routine maintenance and instructing workers on the proper operation of equipment at customer job sites Hiring Requirements Drug Screening Reference Checks Valid Driver’s License QUALIFICATIONS HS Diploma or GED required A combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities is required General knowledge of various types of equipment and the ability to work with little or no supervision is required Compensation and Hours Basis for unit of salary/pay: Hourly $15-20 Dependent on experience Salary: Salary based on experience and aptitude of candidate Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm Benefits offered: Health Insurance (Health and Vision), 401k Plan with matching, Paid Personal Time, Paid Holidays, Life Insurance, Department ‘Employee Appreciation’ budget, Tuition Reimbursement, Tool purchase program.
