This year marks our 10th Annual Pacific Health 5K event (formerly called the MANA 5K to our regulars). We are dedicated to helping our Utah Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander's build a healthier community, one step at a time!
Last October we walked and reflected on the many loved ones that had an impact in our lives and who passed during the pandemic. We continue our Walk In Remembrance this year to honor our loved ones.
On June 15, 2022 we lost our dear friend and fellow advocate, Melsihna Folau, who founded and chaired United Micronesian Women. She fought a brave battle with cancer all while still giving her time, love, and service to her community. Melsihna volunteered with the 5K event the past two years and we were so happy to have her walk with us last year. We continue to honor Mel’s legacy of service as we walk in remembrance of her. We love and miss you Mel!
Photos and names of loved ones will be printed and displayed on yard signs around the 5K route. If you would like to participate in this, please email a photo and the name of your loved one you are walking for to [email protected].
A free Covid-19 vaccination clinic will also be onsite to provide booster shots and 1st and 2nd doses.

Participants will go around the park two times. Start and finish is at the pavilion in the northeast corner of the park. Parking is available all along the park leading up to the pavilion. You can also park on the northwest corner of the park entering from the 900 South entrance and then park and walk over to the pavilion on the east side.
