Description

Through the highs and lows, local churches have strived to improve the quality of life for their communities. Despite our best efforts, we can see a new set of challenges arise with the changing times that require more focused ways of addressing increasing rates of depression, isolation, and delinquency in our young people. Not only do our young people face challenges in their secular life, but their spiritual life remains under attack as well. Temptation and vanity have stolen the hearts of many young people to depart the church. Instead of serving God, young people prefer to build up wealth and health for their own goals and ambitions. Because of the disconnect between youth and their church, the community of God dwindles and many become increasingly lost in the world. That’s where Mind Education steps in. Inspired by the timeless principles and truths from the Bible, Mind Education vividly illustrates to students the importance of deep thinking, self-discipline, connection to others, the exchange of the heart, and the power of a change in character in a way that can be implemented immediately in their lives. Conceived only from the wisdom of God, Mind Education has been utilized worldwide for over 20 years to guide young people to change the way they perceive and make decisions in their life. Hosted by the Christian Leaders Fellowship (CLF) and the International Mind Education Institute (IMEI), the Youth Life Advancement Initiative invites pastors, first responders, law enforcement, correctional officials, and educators across the country to discuss the implementation of Mind Education through local agencies to help nurture the next generation of healthy-minded leaders. We cordially invite you to this ongoing conversation that strives to bring about lasting change in our communities by transforming the hearts of our young people, one at a time. The meeting will take place on Sunday, September 25, starting 4:30 PM at UCCU Center(Utah Valley University); light dinner will be provided. The meeting will be followed by the 2022 Gracias Christmas Cantata, a musical extravaganza that has reunited families, strengthened communities, inspired young artists, and shared the love of God with those who need it the most. You will automatically get Reserved seats for the Gracias Christmas Cantata with attendance at the Youth Life Advancement Initiative meeting. Please RSVP to reserve seats for you and your guests both at the Youth Life Advancement Initiative and the Gracias Christmas Cantata. Through these various initiatives, we are working to positively impact our communities. We cordially invite you to this ongoing conversation that strives to bring about lasting change in our world.
