Description

Learning more about the faiths of others can lead to respect and dignity, breaking down the walls that divide and pit people against one another. Abraham is considered the father of the three monotheistic faiths in the world, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. In the spirit of dialogue and in honor Abraham, the Dialogue Institute Albuquerque will be hosting a panel program that brings community leaders and clergy to engage in a dialogue about the commonalities of and common issues concerning the Abrahamic communities over delicious Turkish food. The theme for the evening's Table of Abraham Dinner is “Mother Mary in Abrahamic Traditions”. The dinner will be held on Saturday, September 29th, 2022 at 6:00 pm. Here is our amazing speaker: Rev. Frank Yates, Professor at UNM Religious Studies Program Bio: Rev. Dr. Frank Yates has been a Presbyterian minister for 42 years.
