It's time to celebrate 50 years of conservation! On October 8th, 2022, Don Edwards SF Bay National Wildlife Refuge is celebrating big by throwing a public birthday bash! Join us in celebrating 50 years of Conservation—Past, Present, and Future. From 1972 to today, the Refuge has provided a place of solace, exploration, and enjoyment for visitors, each and every day. Refuge staff and partners are planning a celebration with ranger walks and talks, face painting, history talks, activities, refreshments, and more!
