An Early Childhood Initiative in Elkhart County is focused on improving early childhood outcomes in Elkhart County. Dr. Dana Suskind, a pediatric physician, will present to community leaders and parents on Tuesday, November 1. Two sessions: 1 – 4 p.m. Session focused on community 6 – 7:30 p.m. Session focused for parents, with childcare available Hear from Dr. Dana Suskind, MD, a leading expert on optimizing early brain development, and give feedback on emerging strategies to improve early childhood outcomes in Elkhart County. Dr. Suskind is professor of surgery and co-director of TMW Center for Early Learning + Public Health. She is the author of Parent Nation (2022) and Thirty Million Words: Building a Child’s Brain (2015).
