Description
I’m looking for some help installing a standing seam metal roof in Pleasure Point, Santa Cruz.
The roof is a 5/12 skillion (split-peak). It’s about 24 squares. There’s one wall-to-roof connection, four skylights, and no hips or valleys. So it’s a relatively simple roof. The panels will be 18” wide, 24 gauge, and probably 1-3/4” snap-lock. We’ll also be doing fascia wraps (wrapping the fascia in metal trim).
I have a small amount of metal roof experience but I’d like to have someone with more experience helping out.
This could be great for a journeyman roofer/metalworker who is either in between jobs or wants to make some extra money on the weekend or something.
You should:
* Have installed many snap-lock standing seam roofs
* Have flashed many skylights in standing seam roofs
* Be comfortable with inside and outside corner origami
I might have the panels prefabricated and shipped to the site, or if you know someone with a rollforming panel machine, that could also work.
If you’re interested let me know your experience, your availability, and how much you charge per hour.
Thanks!
