My ambivalence to either party seems to upset many people. The reality is, I am a common sense middle of the road kind of guy. I do not believe that any productive conversations can be had with Bernie extremists nor MAGA extremists. I don't care what color, sex, orientation or religion a person is. I care about their character. Are they honest? Do they have integrity? Do they treat people around them with respect? Pledging my allegiance to one political party or another just perpetuates the immaturity and nonsense. Political party division reminds me of being on a road trip with bickering siblings. Both sides argue nonsense. As an intelligent free thinking middle aged man, I do not see any advantages to choosing sides. I am a proud and happy American. That is all that really matters.
