Parkway Plaza is bringing a first of it’s kind culinary competition to San Diego! Taste for the Space is a one day at a food festival style event where 12 chefs will compete with the goal to convince the public that their taste should win the space. You are invited to sample dishes from each competitor and vote for your favorite to win 3 months of free rent and a $20,000 business investment to open their concept at the shopping center. Taste for the Space will also include a Kids Zone provided by the El Cajon Park and Rec Squad, live DJ, giveaways, a beer garden and craft cocktails for guests 21+ and much more! All proceeds from the festival will benefit Kitchens For Good, a local culinary non-profit that provides job training and assistance for those in need.
