After living in St. Rose, for over 20 years she recently relocated back to Highland. She’s been an Independent Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics, an international skin care and cosmetics company, for 29 years. She’s also a published author of His Hand, My Journey, a book she wrote after losing her husband and mother in 2016. She’s gone on to speak and share her story with others to give them hope, help them heal, and inspire them to think a new thought! Her passion and mission is to make an impact on others, to empower them, so that they can enjoy life to the fullest!! She is the bonus mom to 4 amazing children, and 8 adorable grandbabies. Joyce enjoys spending time with family and friends, as she feels cultivating great relationships is so important. Nice weather, you’ll find her out cruising in her Yellow Jeep and in the winter, the Beach is her Happy Place. She says it soothes her soul!! She loves to listen to music and go see live bands perform locally. You won’t find her watching TV, but she enjoys journalling and is always looking for books and articles to read to be a better version of herself in her down time. Oh and by the way, the majority of everyone who knows her well calls her Joycie, the name her kids and her late husband gave her when they first met her!! The mind is a powerful tool!!
