University of Western Florida professor Margo Stringfield will present a program at 4 p.m. October 1 at the Ximenez-Fatio House Museum, 20 Aviles Street. This event will focus on Floridians of days gone by … What was is like as pioneers in a strange country? How did these early settlers deal with death and morning far from home? Stringfield is also an archaeologist, author and a Dame (The Ximenez-Fatio House is owned by The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in The State of Florida, since 1939).
