Heading in to Fall, how's everybody doing? I'm still feeling the fire of live jazz improvisation, and trying my best to feed it. Turning my attention to the Fall Jazz Workshop, I hope to see your light and ignite even more. For almost three decades I've been offering Four Seasons of Jazz Workshops a year with nary a break. I still like my original format the best. Open House Jam Sessions, open to all, a chance to meet and greet and jam with new and old friends, and for those who are interested, I'll mix and match you into Weekly Ensembles that meet under my direction for 90-minutes for the next 8 weeks, and I'll meet with you for three hours of private or semi-private lessons over those two months too, so we can get the most out of your potentials. I like Fall because Halloween; and my annual Workshop Concert and Jam Sessionm Monday, October 31 at 7 PM. Costumes required! The Fee for the Fall Workshop is $500 for the Quarter, due on October 1. Register early between now and the end of September and save $50. Bring a friend! Swing a dealio. Individual programs are also available both online and in person at my studio in Maple Leaf.
