A Boca Raton Condominium is looking for a maintenance worker to ensure that the buildings are properly maintained as directed by the Property Manager. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: • Must be self-motivated, reliable and a team player. • Utilizes and maintains equipment in a proper, safe, and effective manner. • Picking up debris around the property • Removal of association garbage, recycling and large disposal items placed by unit owners. • Performs such other duties as may be assigned by Management. • Identify and report possible repairs. • Painting or touch up of common areas as needed. • Check all lights weekly. • Pressure washes decks, sidewalks, staircases, entrances, etc. as necessary to maintain neat appearance. Experience/Knowledge/Skills: Requires a minimum of (2) year’s general experience in building trades, repair, and maintenance or handy work. Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50lbs. following appropriate safety procedures: Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time. Crawl in small and tight spaces. Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g., heat, cold, wind, rain). Walk and climb stairs. Handle, grasp, feel objects and equipment. Reach with hands and arms. Please keep in mind that most of the work will be performed outdoors.
