All are welcome to come help us cleanup and maintain the Clearwater Community Garden. On the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month, gardeners and residents alike meet up to help preserve and maintain our common garden areas.
The Clearwater Community Gardens host 50 garden plots that are leased out to various local gardeners who have applied. However, we have common community areas that also need to be maintained, pruned, weeded and cleaned up or improved on a regular basis.
All of our "staff" are volunteers who love Mother Nature, gardening and sharing their knowledge. If you would like to get involved in gardening but aren't sure where to start, participating in our Beautification Day, even just one time, is a great way to meet other like-minded people who will share their knowledge and even their extra plants for you to start your own garden.
We host various learning events, workshops and plant sales throughout the year.
We have Annual Memberships in addition to plot leases available. If all the plots are taken, we have a waiting list you may be added to, for when the next plot becomes available.
The Annual Membership entitles you to attend all CCG social and educational activities for free, receipt of our newsletter, and other communications. Membership dues help maintain the community garden property, cover the cost of watering, etc.. Membership also provides you with an opportunity to apply for your own garden plot in advance of non-members.
To apply for a Membership, email [email protected].
