Here we have yet another venue looking for free talent. You people have got a lot of nerve. First of all, no musician who is any good is gonna play for free. You got a lot of nerve...no BALLS...to ask someone to load up, drive to a gig at $3.50 a gallon,unload,setup,play for 3 hours (most likely the same boring crap everyone in this town plays),break down, load back up, & burn more gas to get home...all for what? A home cooked meal? I can get that from my GF for free, and most likely much better. So, shove your home-cooked meal AND your stupid exposure. Any musician who falls for this & plays for free is a traitor to his craft & fellow musicians.
