ELMHURST, IL — Drunken driving is said to increase around New Year's Eve. If local arrests are an indication, Elmhurst is no exception. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports: DUIs Dalibor Miljkovic, 46, of Lyons, was arrested about 5 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of West North on a charge of DUI. The suspect was released on bond. Demetrius McPherson, 28, of Maywood, was arrested one minute into the new year at North and Villa on charges of DUI (drugs), no valid driver's license, failure to signal, failure to wear a seat belt, improper display of registration and illegal transportation of alcohol. In the same incident, Lenetrice Johnson, 28, of Antioch, was cited on charges of unlawful possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and no seat belt. Ciara Johnson, 24, and Veronica Cullens, 28, both of Chicago, were cited on charges of no seat belt and possession of open alcohol in a motor vehicle. They were released on bond. Jacob Fraker, 30, of Chicago, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Friday at North and Berteau on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle. He was released on bond. Bruce Tripp, 50, of Chicago, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Friday at York and St. Charles on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol and possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle. He was released on bond. Kymberly Dixon, 33, of Chicago, was arrested about 5:30 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of North Myrtle on charges of DUI, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, no valid registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper use of registration, illegal transportation of open alcohol and injuring property. She was released on bond. Raymond J. Simmons, 26, of Chicago, was arrested about 1:30 p.m. Friday at North and Addison on charges of DUI (drugs), driving with a suspended license, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on bond. According to a police report, Simmons was found unconscious behind the wheel. Driving violations Jessica Franco, 20, of Chicago, was cited about 9:30 p.m. Thursday at Route 83 and St. Charles on charges of possession of marijuana paraphernalia by a minor, possession of alcohol by a minor, illegal transportation of open alcohol and speeding. He was released on bond. Aaron Dunigan, 30, of Chicago, was cited about 1:30 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of St. Charles on charges of driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on bond. Thomas A. Lansford, 29, of Northlake, was cited about 3:30 p.m. Friday at Route 83 and St. Charles on charges of driving with a suspended license and defective windshield. He was released on bond. Christian Luna-Quino, 32, of Chicago, was cited about 11 p.m. Friday at North and Maple on charges of driving with a suspended license, speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on bond. James Grissom, 42, of Arlington Heights, was cited at 12:30 a.m. Saturday at North and York on charges of driving with a suspended license, failure to signal and failure to dim headlights. He was released on bond. Jordan Franshun, 19, of Melrose Park, was cited at 10 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of West St. Charles on charges of possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and tinted windows. He was released on bond. Rosemary Hamilton, 53, of Chicago, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Sunday at North and Interstate 290 on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. She was released on bond. Martise Carroll, 28, of Chicago, was cited about 2 a.m. Sunday at Route 83 and St. Charles on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and tinted windows. He was released on bond. Myriam Y. Ramirez, 53, of Northlake, was cited about 9:30 p.m. Sunday a York and Diversey on charges of driving with a suspended license and improper lighting. She was released on bond. Threatening messages A resident on Donald Court told police he received threatening text messages Thursday. The victim did not respond to the messages, but wanted the incident documented. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt.
