Press release from the City of Huntsville Parks & Recreation Department: September 12, 2022 Access to Windsor Manor Park, located at 6500 Pisgah Drive in northwest Huntsville, will temporarily close beginning Monday, Sept. 12 to accommodate a road improvement project. The length of the closure will be determined by the extent of repairs needed on Pisgah Drive. During the closure, residents are invited to visit nearby Maplewood Park at 4943 North Memorial Parkway, or Dr. Richard Showers Sr. Recreation Center at 4600 Blue Spring Road. Each of these Huntsville Parks and Recreation facilities provides similar or additional amenities to those found at Windsor Manor Park. Both options are conveniently located within a 2-mile radius.
