Hi members of IATSE unions, I am on here looking for some help. My fiancee is a member of the local 728 and has been for 18 years. we have recently lost our house due to reasons that were beyond ourselves. Because this was so sudden and out of nowhere, we had no money saved up. We are currently staying wherever we can, but we need to find a place to live asap. He went through a divorce a few years ago and had to file bankruptcy in the process, so every place we apply to even though he is making up to 70 or more dollars an hour( I do not know his exact wage but its a guestimate), our credit history gets us denied for many places. I myself do not really have any established credit, so we are lost. If anyone knows of anyone renting out a house or guest house in the valley or anywhere in Los Angeles really with a budget of up to $2500, that could understand the situation we are in and might work with us, please reach out. I do not want to say we are desperate, but, we kind of are.
