Female Timneh African Grey Parrot

Description

Carlsbad CA I need to rehome my almost 18 year old female timneh African grey. She will do best in a home with no other birds or at least no other smaller birds. She has bitten 2 of my Conures and goes after the budgies. She has never bitten me yet though. I prefer she goes to a home with someone who has African grey experience or has done the research. African greys can be loud and destructive and her new owner needs to understand that so she doesn't get rehomed again. Now the good stuff.... I've taught Kiki to ask for what she wants/needs. She says "Kiki water" "Kiki wants out" "Kiki do you want a cookie?". She sings twinkle twinkle and happy birthday. Sometimes she mixes them up. She loves to dance to Baby shark and I've taught her to let me know when she wants her head scratched. She will say "step up" when she wants to move to a different spot. Like I said, she never has bitten me and always steps up even when she knows she's in trouble. She is a very sensitive bird so she needs someone who will listen to her and communicate with her. She is very sweet and needs a special person to love her. She is a good watch bird and will protect you from all cardboard boxes, newspapers and paper bags and the occasional door or table leg. There is a rehoming fee to ensure she goes to a forever home.
