In a closed session of our city council, Is it TRUE that Did the San Diego City Council meet in closed session to approve a request to spend an additional 300 million in Gang buy back programs. SDPD gave statistics showing grave problems with the program, and its lack of accountability for taxpayers funds ( who gets what and how much) Suggesting to the city council that the idea of renewing any future monies in the future of this type without fiscal accountability a thumbs down. If there’s accountability as to where, why and what taxpayers are receiving in return. question: What are the citizens of San Diego getting for 600 million dollars. Where are the funds coming from, finely has the past program shown promise, is it preventing crime. Six hundred million dollars spent with zero accountability is a shame.
